Litchfield Park… much talked about as the expected highlight for waterfalls and rock holes to swim in. So we had been pretty excited to get here. Two days exploring which doesn’t sound much but considering a lot of the park is still shut for maintenance and / or to clear crocs from rock holes, there has been a limited amount to see. Buley Rockhole was first on the list. Great little spot. Just a series of cascading waterfalls that head down towards Florence falls. But great fun. So we spent a good couple of hours here, messing around in the water, jumping off ledges, wallowing in natural spa like pools and snorkelling amongst the little fish. Until the druggy crew rocked up and the whole atmosphere of the place changed (literally!). Luckily it was stinking hot by then and time to return to the campsite for a spot of crazy golf and… swimming!
