Took the kids on an aboriginal cultural cruise up the East Alligator River on the border of Kakadu and Arnhem Land. It was stinking hot and unfortunately our guide was clearly ‘over it’ so he wasn’t that enthusiastic in telling his cultural tales. Even so, we found it fascinating and learnt lots.
Here’s what the kids thought.
Arch loved the spear throwing demonstration, “whoa”.
Jemima fell asleep.
Harry’s highlight of the day was “having a car sickness pill”
Barn’s reaction was; “omg, this is a waste of one and a half hours of my life”.
